Community Service
The Hoddesdon Community Service Committee is well known for its dedication to "service above self," offering aid to those in need within our community, either directly or through local charities. Our club members volunteer their time for various projects, offering guidance and support to the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged
Recent activities include:
- Hosting a Spring Event at Broxbourne Civic Hall for 150-250 local seniors, featuring a buffet meal, entertainment, and fun.
- Organizing 'Kids Out' – a day trip to Hertfordshire Zoo for children.
- Providing monthly volunteer drivers for the George Fuller Club.
- Conducting street collections for the British Legion.
- Managing the upkeep of an ambulance donated in 2005 to Belmont home.
- Maintaining Commonwealth War Graves in Broxbourne, Wormley, and Hoddesdon.
